The SoundBed® Mattress Cover is engineered to fit directly over your mattress and has the ability to carry sound from each corner of the bed. Built into the SoundBed® Mattress Cover are a set of exciters which are essentially magnets that resonate off of whatever surface they are attached to which, in this case, is your bed. They emit sound with much more clarity and punch than a speaker of the same size. They are small and waterproof, yet provide a full range of sound from 20Hz-20kHz.
This revolutionary product is a sound system for the bed…but the beauty is that it is speakerless.
The SoundBed® ‘Ultimate’ Mattress Cover comes with 2 low profile bass transducers that deliver punch to the lower frequencies of the sound spectrum (20Hz- 180Hz) resulting in bass that you can ‘feel’. The combination of all 4 literally creates a bed of sound.
The components are powered by a 100-watt, 2.1 channel amplifier which provides more than enough power to supply The SoundBed®. The improved design of our amplifier now gives the user the ability to adjust the sub crossover frequency (50-120 Hz), allowing them to fine tune the sound to fit their personal listening preferences. There is a discrete push button power switch/source selector located on the front of the unit on the left-hand side. The amplifier’s aesthetics offer you an attractive black aluminum case that can easily be the focal point of your bed.
Everything is joined together with high quality connectors that are milled from solid brass, plated in 24 karat gold, and dressed in a black oxide shell.
