Taking care of your SoundBed® Mattress Cover
The SoundBed® Mattress Cover is intended to be left in place one it has been secured to your mattress. Do not attempt to wash the cover yourself as the components inside will become damaged and inoperable. If you have a stain, rip or tear and you wish to replace the mattress cover, contact us at: orders@mysoundbed.com Someone from our Service Department will contact you with the procedure for having your SoundBed® replaced.
**At your own discretion, you may have a professional spot clean the stain. However, this will invalidate any warranty implied or assumed and you will be liable for any and all damages that occur to the product. Do not apply over the counter stain remover as it may yellow the fabric.
Extending the Life of Your SoundBed® System
You will have received a waterproof mattress protector as part of your initial order with SoundBed®. Rather than washing the SoundBed® Mattress Cover (which houses the audio/electronic components), remove the mattress protector and wash it instead.
The mattress protector helps to protect against stains, wear and tear, moisture and damage to your Mattress Cover. It is constructed of cotton and polyester blend fabric and a waterproof layer that prevents liquid from passing through.
Moving Your SoundBed® System
The patented SoundBed® System makes moving the Mattress Cover simple and easy. Simply ensure that you are moving the Mattress Cover to a 110 volt electrical outlet (always use an approved surge protector). There is no need for disassembly of any kind, since your SoundBed® Mattress Cover is constructed as a single piece.
Before moving your Mattress Cover, you will need to unplug the Mattress Cover from the existing outlet. Remove the elastic anchor bands from each corner and fold the Mattress Cover (this will help prevent components from moving or shifting during the move). Once you are ready to fit the Mattress Cover onto a different mattress, unfold the Mattress Cover (with the SoundBed® Amplifier at the head of the bed). Securely attach the elastic anchor bands on each corner and plug it into a 110 volt electrical outlet (always use an approved surge protector).
